PDA means Personal Digital Assistant. PDAs are used for sorting and retrieving information. Like most computer devices, many PDA can connect to the Internet. PDAs extremely compact. They have many built in features such as calculator, clock and calendar. 4. What are ROM-BIOS?
The ‘Read Only Memory-Basic Input Output System’ chip is a chip located at the computer’s system board, which contains software. This software performs variety of tasks. This software then load the Operating System from the disk into the RAM.

Freeware: Freeware is a software which is made freely available and free to use. The user doesn’t have to pay the producer for the use of such software. Software made by the educational communities are usually made freely available.
Shareware: Shareware is a software which is freely available and is designed to let users use the product for free of charge, for a limited period while the user decide whether the user like it or not. After this period, the user must legally remove it, or pay the producer an amount for the further use of the software.
