01. What are the navigational units?

The navigational units are:

•  Outside the form

•  Form

•  Block

•  Record

•  Item

02. When do Pre-and Post-Navigation triggers fires?

The Pre- and Post- navigation triggers fire during navigation, just before entry to or just after exit the object specified as part of the trigger name.

03. What happens if Navigation Fails?

If navigation fails, Form reverse the navigation path and attempts to move the navigational unit back to its initial location.

04. When do Pre-and Post-Navigation triggers fires?

The Pre- and Post- navigation triggers fire during navigation, just before entry to or just after exit the object specified as part of the trigger name.

05. When do Pre-and Post-Navigation triggers not fires?

The Pre- and Post- navigation triggers do not fire if they belong to a unit that is lower in the hierarchical than the current validation unit .For instance, if the validation unit is Record, Pre- and Post-Text-Item do not fire.

06. When do When-New-<object>-Instance Trigger Fire?

The When-New-<object>-Instance Trigger Fire immediately after navigation to the object specified as part of the trigger name.

07. What happens when a navigation trigger fails?

If a Pre- or Post-navigation Trigger fails, the input focus returns to its initial location. To the user, it appears that the input focus has not moved at all.
